The old has gone, the new has come....
The good old Nissan is already 16 years old and looks like it can't go further. There is an ominous whirring of the engine whenever it runs, much like the way my old bikes used to sound.
One of my bikes had its 'belt' (the device connecting the engine to the wheels) just snap along the highway. Suddenly, the bike was free-wheeling in the middle of the highway, the engine no longer powering those wheels. There was just enough momentum to bring the bike to the road shoulder and get a tow truck.
